Book giveaway rules.

The short version: confirm a new Mellow Collective subscription by August 31, and you’ll be entered in a random drawing for one hardcover copy of Thrilling Tales of Modern Men.

No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning.

1. Sponsor

The giveaway is sponsored by Mellow Collective Ltd. Questions may be sent to [email protected].

2. Entry period

The entry period begins August 5, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Mellow Collective’s newsletter records are the official timekeeper.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old when they enter. Employees, contractors, and immediate household members of Mellow Collective are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

4. How to enter

1. Submit a valid email address through the giveaway form during the entry period.
2. Complete the newsletter’s email confirmation before the entry period closes.

Limit one entry per person and email address. Automated, bulk, duplicate, or fraudulent entries are void. You may unsubscribe at any time; unsubscribing does not cancel an otherwise eligible entry.

5. Prize

One winner will receive one hardcover copy of Thrilling Tales of Modern Men by Danny McBride. Approximate retail value: $30. No cash substitution. Mellow Collective may replace the prize with one of equal or greater value if the listed prize becomes unavailable.

6. Drawing and notification

On or about September 2, 2026, Mellow Collective will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entries. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be contacted at the email address used to enter and must respond within 72 hours. If the potential winner is ineligible, cannot be reached, or does not respond in time, an alternate may be selected.

7. Delivery and taxes

The winner must provide a valid U.S. shipping address. Mellow Collective will cover standard shipping. The winner is responsible for any tax obligation arising from the prize.

8. Privacy

Entry information is used to administer the drawing and, after confirmation, to send the Mellow Collective newsletter. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. See the Mellow Collective privacy policy.

9. General conditions

Mellow Collective may disqualify entries that violate these rules or interfere with the operation of the giveaway. If fraud, technical failure, or another event makes the drawing impractical or unfair, Mellow Collective may suspend, modify, or cancel it and, where practical, select a winner from eligible entries already received.

10. Independence

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon, Penguin Random House, Random House, Danny McBride, or any social platform. Amazon and Penguin Random House are not responsible for the giveaway.

11. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
